Unfortunately, we have some very sad news that we must inform you all of.

The Governors have made the decision to close Timberley Tots Playgroup.

The decision has been made due to funding reasons. Playgroup have been making a loss and legally, the Academy funds are not allowed to cover or help out the Playgroup financial issues.

However, Miss Rose had made the decision to look into changing the age range in school down to 2 years old.

This will mean that our current Playgroup children will be able to turn our Nursery.

Playgroup will be closing their doors for the final time around Easter 2017.

So please do not panic and please do not feel like you now have to search for new childcare arrangements.

Also, remember that if your child attends our Nursery they are guaranteed a place in our Reception class when the time comes.

For any more information or if you would like to discuss these changes with someone, please feel free to called the school office on 0121-4642002.

Timberley children will be making and selling hanging baskets very soon.  Please contact Mr Ball to put you orders in.  If you bring your old baskets back we will replant them for you at a discounted price.

There will be an Easter bonnet competition for £1 and we are even having a visit from the Easter Bunny himself!!!

Prizes will be awarded to the best bonnet.

Our on site farm will also be open for everyone to visit, you can even feed the animals.

If you would like to sell at the fayre, you can hire a table top for £7.50.

The fayre does get very busy and very full fast, so please reserve your table as early as possible.

Unfortunately, we are still having issues with parking and safety outside school,

even after numerous reminders.

We must ask that parents/carers park properly outside of school, clear of school's slip road and our neighbours drives.

We do also ask that children are watched and guided while coming to and from school.

There is an increased concern that an accident will happen.

Our aim is to make sure all of our children, parents, staff and neighbours are kept happy and safe at all times.

Please co-operate and help us achieve this. 

Our neighbours have been advised that if their drives are being blocked or they are having any issues with parking, then they are to contact the police or Birmingham City Council.

We do not want problems to persist, nor do we want any of our parents/carers to receive parking tickets or warnings. 

Therefore, to avoid any of this, please park considerably and be cautious at all times.
