R.E.A...R.E.A.D...LET'S READ!
As it is Literacy week at Timberley, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to introduce Big Reading! Every Monday we will have a Big Reading lesson where we will become spies! We will have a mission to achieve, listen to a story then undertake an investigation of the book followed by our own mini-mission! Exciting!
We loved our first session. We listened to a really funny story by Dick King-Smith and our mission was to practise reading the text with expression. We certainly had some very scary sounding wolves and a very squeaky and excited grandmother pig!
We can't wait for our next mission!
