MORE SUPER EXPERIMENTS IN CLASS!!!!!
For one of our project lessons, the 5ers planned an experiment to test which material is the best for a parachute. We were looking to find out which material would keep the parachute in the air for the longest. The materials we tested were cloth, plastic bag and paper.
The majority of the class correctly predicted that the plastic bag parachute would stay in the air the longest because the plastic bag would trap most of the air and so it would stay in the air for the longest amount of time.
It was great fun!
This half term we are studying a new project- Mission to Mars!
It would be useful if you could help your child to do some research about this planet and our solar system.
Watch this space for some exciting work!
