Gateways to the World
This half term, our new project is Gateways to the World.
Everyday, millions of people take to the skies, making journeys in aeroplanes. Air travel helps to connect people around the world.
We will be finding out about jobs in an airport and aeroplane, how airport expansion can affect the environment and how to plan and design an airport.
For our entry point, we fastened our seat belts and took a ride on a Timberley Airline Flight 201.
We watched the safety demonstration and even enjoyed some refreshments!
