This Friday was the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy. It was a huge military operation, codenamed Operation Overlord and was a key date in the history of World War II.
To remember this event, we researched information on the D-Day landings, including who was involved, where it happenened and what it led to. We also dressed in red, white and blue to represent our flag.
We also watched extracts of Carrie's War to explore what life was like for evacuees of the war.
