We love to read in Reception and the children are getting very excited about taking their books home. They will be bringing a new book home each week with their school reading diary. The day that your child reads will be on the front of the book. Please look closely at the label and ensure the child's reading book is in school on that day.

The children love telling us about the books they have read at home, and who they have shared their story with and we love reading the comments you write in the home reading diaries about the stories you have read together and how you think your child is getting on.
It is helpful if book bags are brought to school every day, as letters can be put into the bag to prevent them getting lost.
