This week in maths we will exploring shape, both 2D and 3D. We will use the correct vocabulary to describe the properties of shapes and draw a given selection of shapes. We will also use straws and modelling clay to construct 3D shapes. Then we will explore the points of a compass and how to make quarter and half turns to move from one direction to another. Finally, we will measure and compare the perimeter of a set of regular shapes.
