Our first Project for this half term is 'Super Humans'.

We have been busy looking at how we use our senses and where we can use them.

To help us, we took part in a sensory walk around the farm, where we identified different sounds, smells and tastes.

We can't wait to find more about our body! Why not visit the library to carry out your own research? We would love to know what you find out!

What a fantastic start to Year 2 we have had!

We are so impressed with how all the children have settled into life in Year 2!

Just a few reminders for you all:

Firstly, PE will be on a Tuesday for classes 2C and 2H and on a Thursday for 2R. However, PE kits should be in school all week.

Secondly, now the children are in Year 2, it is expected that their reading books are in school every day, even if they haven't completed their books. This is so we can enjoy hearing them read regularly.

We encourage children to read every night, whether it's their school reading book, library book or a book they are reading at home. Homework will be set on Education City and occasional paper homework will be set.

We are super excited in Year 2 because we have also been given passes to Time Tables Rockstars. The children know all about this and  this can be accessed through the free app, on tablets and phones, or through the website.
