Horrid Henry's hideous house!
Our focus this half term is fiction writing based on the Horrid Henry character. We decided to set our story in his DISGUSTING bedroom. To help with our descriptions, we completed a super rainbow writing activity. In this, we worked in groups and had 3 minutes to write as many descriptive phrases to describe his room. We then took another group's work and tried to add more detail to their suggestions.
We came up with some fantastic descriptive sentences, including "There was a foul stench from under his unmade bed" and " Unlike Peter's room, Henry's was disorganised and chaotic".
