JOB DAY SUCCESS
To introduce our new project: A day in the life.., we asked the children to come to school dressed as a job role e.g Doctor, fire fighter, police etc. The children enjoyed a day filled with activities relating to the project and we hope that this has been an exciting and memorable experience for the children as well as the staff.
Thank you to those that made a huge effort with the wonderful outfits. We had a range of workers from Lollipop Ladies to Tree Surgeons and all the children looked great and could talk about their profession.
As a special treat, the children even had the opportunity to meet a real-life Police Officer who came in and discussed what she had to do in her role and showed us all of the items on her utility belt. We even got to hear a real radio transmission of a police call out. It was so exciting!
