Happy New Year
Welcome back to a new term in Year 2. It is lovely to see the children looking so smart and ready to learn. Please make sure your child is in school every day and on time as we have a very busy term ahead with lots of hard work!
Please remember PE is on a Tuesday and children must have a PE kit in school, hair must be tied back and earrings must be taken out in order for your child to take part. PE is an important part of the curriculum so please try to ensure PE kits are in school.
Our author for this half term is Francesca Simon and we will be reading A LOT of Horrid Henry stories as well as using his character to help with our story writing. Children have already written a character description and this week we wrote about the setting for our story. Take a look at our super work. Children were trying so hard they had a visit from their writing friends.
