A stitch in time
Our DT topic this half term is all about money containers. We looked at a sample and discussed how they fastened, how they were decorated and how suitable they were.
We then had to practise our sewing techniques before we began to design our own money container. We explored running stitch and back stitch. Although threading the needle was a little tricky, we all perservered and created some excelled samples of the two stitches.
