Scavengers and Settlers
As part of this half term's project, we have been investigating how we learn about the past. We have explored how fossils give us information about the animals and plants that were on the planet many years ago. We even had a go at making our own fossils!
We had the opportunity to become detectives for the day and investigate the discovery of Otzi! Otzi is a 4000 year old mummy who was found in the Alps.
We examined photographs of his injuries, the remains of his clothing and the tools and weapons that were found buried near him in order to learn more about his life and the time period when he was alive.
