PE: Athletics and Gymnastics
Children to come to school in their PE kits on their PE days (Thursday and Friday). Please ensure children wear a white round neck t-shirt, black shorts or jogging bottoms and trainers. Please also ensure children do not wear jewellery, can remove their earrings or bring plasters from home to cover them.
Homework
Friday: Spellings (test following Friday), Literacy and Maths (paper) and TTRS sessions.
Reading Books: Please ensure children read daily and their book is brought into school every day.
Punctuality and Attendance
Please can you encourage your child to come in to school every day for Morning Activities. Doors will open for children at 8.40am.
Please ensure children are in school every day. If your child is unwell or not able to attend school for any reason, you can phone the office or email attendance@timberleyacademy.bham.sch.uk. You can also update your child’s absence via the Studybugs APP. Timberley will be continuing with the Top 100 award for our top 100 attendees.
Equipment
Please ensure your child comes to school each day with a labelled drinks bottle. Please do not send fizzy drinks or energy drinks. Children will still be provided with stationery this year so children are asked not to bring in their own equipment from home.

Also, for drinks, children may bring in water or squash and they are encouraged to drink throughout the day.
