For our entry point and knowledge harvest, we explored a range of images linked to this project. These were a food chain, an aquarium, a fish and a bird. We had to mind map any facts we knew about these already.
Then we had a range of plants that we sorted according to our own criteria. Some children grouped them according to if they grew on land or in water and some children took this a step further and separated the water plants into freshwater and saltwater plants.
