Cinquains

This week, we have been exploring different styles of poetry.  In particular, we have looked at cinquains.

 

These are 5 lined poems which use nouns, verbs, adjectives and synonyms to describe a subject.

 

We all became poets for the day and wrote some AMAZING cinquains on the theme of beasts, to link in with our myth writing.
