D Day Celebrations

D Day Celebrations

On Friday 6th June, we celebrated 70 years since the D Day Landings in Normandy, France. The children really enjoyed finding out about this event in history. During the day the children took part in various activities, including finding out about children being evacuated and choose items they would pack to take with them if they had to be evacuated, the children also dressed up as evacuees. We also made french and great british flags and listened to the national anthems. The children also made their own planes and poppies during the day. Take a look at the fun we had during the day!
