FULL moon? HALF moon? TOTAL ECLIPSE?
Well what an exciting morning... It was something we were all looking forward to... We sold out of special glasses for the event as it generated so much interest...
The morning when we would witness a partial eclipse; the moon would block the sunlight and we watched and we waited...
It was really quite amazing looking through the special glasses but for those of you waiting for total darkness...it just didn't happen! In fact it stayed rather sunny throughout but the children were fascinated by what they saw and enjoyed writing about the eclipse for their 10 minute writing today.
