  • Help for Heroes

    On Friday 28th June 2013, children and staff may come to school dressed in their own clothing.
    30p for children and £1 for staff.
    Clothes should be in the theme of red, white or blue. 

    There will also be a tuck shop at break time for children to purchase refreshments from. 

    All money raised will go to The Help for Heroes charity. 
    If anyone would like to make a donation, please pay at the office.













































  • Year 6 Personalised Mugs

    Year 6 will be creating personalised mugs as part of their life skills project. 
    The mugs can be ordered at the office for £1,
    for anyone who would like one. 
    You may have any design that you wish. 
    Just let the office know of your requested design when you place your order.

    The Timberley children are making bird boxes, hanging baskets and wheel barrows with plants in to sell. 

    The children love what they have been doing. 
    This project will go towards the children's life skills and to be creative in their work. 

    If you would like to purchase any of these items, please come along to the garden sales after school by the office entrance. 

    All money raised from this will go back to the children.

    Year 6 children are also creating personalised mugs for anyone who would like to purchase one for £1.
    All orders and personalised designs needs to be given to the office.

  • Ice Cream Sales and Litter

    We will be selling ice creams after school tonight (weather permitting) at the front of school.  



    Ice Cream with sprinkles and sauce 50p
    Ice cream with sprinkles, sauce and a flake 60p

    Could we please ask you to dispose of your cups and spoons in the bin as we have had complaints from the local residents that they are finding litter in their gardens.

  • Car Parking

    We have had complaints from our neighbours and local residents about the parking from parents around school.
    Please could you all make sure that you are considerably parking when you are dropping off and picking up your children from school. 
    Please keep clear of any drive ways or grass areas. 
    Parking on the road sides must be safe and not causing any issues with the neighbours. 
    The slip road into school must NOT be parked on.
























  • School Admissions

    School Admissions
     

    It is our intention to increase our numbers in September 2014 to have 90 children in Reception, so that we have space for all of the children attending our Nursery in September 2013. For parents, still on the waiting list for Reception 2013, we doing everything in our power to increase our numbers to accommodate you and your child.

    As an Academy, we are our own admissions authority so if you have a child who would like to attend Timberley please feel free to come into the office and fill in the paper work to go onto our waiting list. In the case of a space becoming available in your required year, we will contact you to offer the place.

    We will keep you all informed of any changes.

  • Donations

    Another thank you to The National Lottery who have granted us £9600 for the farm area. 




    Big thank you to Joshua Smith's family who have kindly donated money to Timberley for various things. 
    So far they have raised: 

    £700 each for our last two Christmas Fayres and our last Summer Fayre. 

    £1000 - For the new Timberley community kitchen.

    Also, a big thankyou to the company they work with, Vodafone.

    We really appreciate the help and support Joshua's family have provided us



























































     
    as donations like these are critical for the development of our school!
    We hope they can continue to help us in the future. 



    Also, another big thank you to Alfred Platt's family who have donated toys for the Summer Fayre. 
    With these we will be able to have a toy tombola.

  • Class 3M Swimming

    Tue 11 Jun 2013

    Class 3M will start swimming lessons at Castle Vale Baths on Monday 17th June 2013. 
    Originally, they were meant to start this Monday but due to an issue with the coach company, the children couldn't attend. 
    Children will leave school after morning registration and will return for break time. 

    Swimming lessons will give children the opportunity to learn to swim or improve their current swimming ability.

    Children must bring a one piece swimming costume or trunkes with a towel in a bag to school every Monday morning.

    Class 3M will be swimming until we break up.
