We have just received an email from River Cottage which said...
'Thanks for applying for free fruit trees through River Cottage's Fruitshare. We're delighted to let you know that your application has been successful!'
School will be receiving 4 fruit trees in the new year to add to our orchard. The fruit the trees produce will be picked by the children and used during their cooking sessions in our new community kitchen.

Could all parents/carers make sure children come to school wearing a coat and warm clothing.
As the weather is getting colder it is important that all children are warm and have a coat for play time.
In the case of it raining, we will have 'wet play', where the children can play indoors.
