On Thursday 24th October 2013, there will be a key stage 2 disco for all children from years 3 to 6.
The disco is to celebrate halloween.
The disco starts straight after school & finishes at 5.30pm.
The disco is £1 per child.
There will also be refreshments for the children to purchase.
Children are welcome to bring their own clothes to school to get changed into for the disco.
If anyone brings a CD along to play, the CD must be labelled with your childs name and class.
Only children who have returned their permission slip and paid the £1 admission fee will be able into the disco.
For a copy of the letter please come to the school office.
On the same day, children is every year, foundation stage, key stage 1 and key stage 2,
can all wear there own clothes for 20p.
As we are celebrating halloween, children can make their clothing halloween themed for fun.
We look forward to all the halloween fun!!
Could all parents/carers who come on to school site please watch their language and things they say.
A complaint has been made to school about the bad langauge being used on the premises.
Please bare in mind that there are young children around who should not be hearing such bad language.
Also, there are to be NO animals/pets on site.
Dogs must not come back any of the school gates.
If you are found on site with a pet, you will be asked to leave the site immediately.

Alcoa Day
Thank you to Alcoa for a fantastic day yesterday, the children and staff all thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Thank you also for the amazing cheque for $53000 kindly donated to help us further develop our outdoor curriculum and Life skills.
Parents/Carers are welcome to come in to help withgardening between the times on 10am till 12 and 2pm till 3pm.
Children do not need to bring money for todays activities as they are all free.
Children will only need money if they wish to purchase tuck.
All help is welcome!

Miss Rose has very kindly arranged for M&M productions to visit Timberley on
Thursday 22nd October 2013 to perform the well known novel, Treasure Island.
All children from year 1 to year 6 are encouraged to come along.
It is £1 per child and the performance will help children with their literacy.
A letter with a permission slip will be sent out this week.
Please remember it is very important that all children try to attend.
Alcoa are providing us with a bouncy castle for
the Fun Day tomorrow.
If you do not wish your child to go on the bouncy castle please contact the school office.
If anyone has any spare or unwanted board games they would like to donate to school, we would be extremely grateful.
Children in breakfast club would like some board games to play while they are having their breakfast in the morning.
All games are welcomed.

Big thank you to everyone who came along to Millie's fund raiser on Saturday.
It was a fantastic day.
Millie raised £80.14 which she very kindly donated to school.
We used this money to buy a parrot.
