1st place goes to year 4 this week for collecting 13lbs of litter this week.
2nd place goes to year 3 after collecting 9lbs of litter.
3rd place goes to year 5 who collected 6lbs of litter. (They had two days out last week too!!)
Trailing in 4th place this week was year 6 with 4lbs of litter.
Well done to all of our wonderful choir for winning the Free Radio Christmas Stars competition.
I am very proud of each and everyone of the children.
They will be performing here Wednesday 6pm. Tickets are going fast so please contact the school office if you do not have tickets yet!

Free Radio's Christmas Stars Competition
Brilliant News!
The Timberley Choir won the Christmas Stars competition.
On Saturday the children performed live in the Birmingham City Centre at Brindley Place, infront of the Free Radio judges and the public.
The choir were amazing and won!
The children have put in so much effort and time to make their performances as good as they can be.
We are so proud of the children and they have done Timberley proud.
A big thank you to Mrs Mayne and Miss Harris who have worked so hard with the choir.
Without them and the children this would not be possible.
Reminder;
The choir will be performing this Wednesday at school, after the open evening.
6pm till 8pm.
Everyone is welcome to come along.

Book Your Child's Christmas Dinner
This Wednesday, 12th December 2012, we will be putting on a Christmas dinner for all children for £1.80.
If you would like your child to receive a Christmas dinner please contact the school office and order your child's as soon as possible.
If you do not order a dinner for your child, they will not receive a Christmas meal,
so please ensure you order one at the latest of Wednesday morning.

Christmas Stars Finalists
As you are already aware our Choir's fantastic performance has made it through to the finals on Free Radio (BRMB). Tomorrow, Saturday 8th December 2012, the Choir will be performing at Brindley Place in the final.
Children will leave school approximately at 1.15pm and should hopefully arrive back from the performance at 4.15pm. Children will need to wear FULL school uniform.
Unfortunately, not all the children in the choir can perform on Saturday, so a selected 30 children will be coming along to perform in the final.
The children who cannot perform on Saturday will be provided with other opportunities.
Family and friends are more than welcome to come along and support the children as they perform LIVE.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the Choir in the Choir Stars Competition, it means a lot and I hope you all support us on Saturday.

Winter Wonderland
Come and visit our Winter Wonderland.
Everyone is welcome to book a day and time to take a tour of the school, visit our animals and even see Father Christmas.
Father Christmas will give each child a very special present and even have their photograph taken with him.
The Winter Wonderland Tour prices are as followed;
£2.50 per child or £2 if you book within a group.

Congratulations to our fantastic choir who are through to the live finals of the Free Radio (BRMB) school Christmas Stars choir competition.
We were all very nervous when waiting for the news but once again the Timberley Children have done us all proud!
Thank you to everyone who supported us and voted, plus a big well done to the children.
Not forgetting a massive thank you to Miss Harris and Mrs Mayne
for their hard work and dedication to the choir!

We have a theatre company in school performing 'Old King Cole.' (Thursday 6th December) Children from Reception to year 6 are invited to watch the performance.
