Easter Holiday
Tomorrow, Thursday 28th March 2013, we break up for Easter.
There is no tea club and no after school clubs tomorrow,
all children will need to be collected on time at the end of the school day.
School is not re-opened until Monday 15th April 2013 for all children and staff.
We hope that all children and staff have a lovely Easter break.
The New Timberley Kitchen
The old community room has now been converted into a kitchen.
The kitchen will give children the opportunity to participate in cooking classes where they will be taught cooking skills and basic rules within a kitchen.
From the pictures below you will see the difference from the community room to the kitchen.
Big thank you to Mr Walker for all his hard work in making the kitchen perfect!
Cooking Club with Mrs Clarke and Miss Tresigne will start after the Easter holidays
for selected children in year 3.
Parents Evening
Reminder that Parents Evening will be Wednesday 27th March 2013 (next week) from 4.30pm till 6.30pm, for ONLY classes 1C 2C & 4B.
Classes 1C 2C & 4B couldn't have Parents Evening with the rest of the school last term due to staff illness.
We look forward to seeing all parents/carers next Wednesday
Broadwater
The residential to Broadwater will still take place Today. Please bring the children to school for 9am. If your child has not returned their medical form please bring it with you this morning.
Although school is closed due to a burst pipe, there is still staff here for the children.
We hope all the children attending the residential have a fantastic time at Broadwater!
During the residential, we will send out updates via text messages to all Parents!
Recycling
Just a quick reminder that at Timberley we recycle cans and old clothes.
If you have any cans or clothing that you want to get rid of, please feel free to bring them into school.
There is a large clothing bin called 'Recycle By Michael' outside the office entrance for any clothing you wish to get rid of. Please give your cans in at the office, so we can dispose of them in the correct recycling bin.
Thank you
