What are the Inspire Workshops?
The Inspire Workshops give parents/carers and family members the opportunity to come into school to work one-to-one with their child.
The aim of the day if for you and your child to create a numeracy game. There will be lots of ideas that your child can choose from, plus lots of materials you may use to make your game creative and as fun as you wish.
The children really love these days and thoroughly enjoy working with their parents/carers and family.
Moms, Dads, Aunties, Uncles and Grandparents are all welcome!
There is to only be one adult per child. An adult must attend for their child to be able to participate.
We offer refreshments for all the adults who come along.
Please don't miss out on the opportunity to visit school and work one-to-one with your child.
We look forward to seeing you all at the workshops.
There will be an Inspire Workshop every academic year for each class.
Every year the workshop theme changes, next year it could be literacy, science or much more!
We also ensure the workshops are fun and educational for all

Remember;
Children in playgroup and nursery do not return until Wednesday 8th January.

After Schools Cancelled All Week (Except for tea club)
Tue 17 Dec 2013All after school clubs, except tea club, are cancelled ALL WEEK!
Children will need to be collected on time.
There will be NO tea club on Friday, therefore all children will need to be collected on time at 3.30pm.

Rotary Award Year 3 - Christmas dinner for the local elderly residents -
Mon 16 Dec 2013Last Thursday, a few children in year 3 served the local elderly residents Christmas dinner and refreshments.
The children were brilliant, well mannered and a credit to Timberley!
The choir sang after the meal and Mrs Turner even played bingo with everyone!!

Key Stage 2 Christmas Disco
Fri 13 Dec 2013Next Thursday 19th December 2013, we will be holding a key stage 2 disco for all children from years 3 to 6,
from 3.30 to 5.30pm.
All children are more than welcome to attend for £1 per child.
Refreshments will be available for children to purchase.
All children may change into their own clothes after school, ready to party at the disco!!
Letters will be sent out regarding the disco on Monday.
Permission slips must be returned by Thursday.
Children who do not have permission, cannot attend the disco.
