Due to health and safety reasons children are only allowed to wear a single pair of stud earrings to school.
Children are not permitted to wear any earrings for PE or swimming. Children will need to remove their own earrings but for younger children it may be easier for parents to remove them before school on PE days as staff are unable to take earrings out for children. If your child has had their ears pierced within the last 6 weeks please provide plasters for them to put over them for PE however after 6 weeks their earrings will need to be removed.
I thank you for your co operation in this matter.

Magic Breakfast reported to The Birmingham Mail how fantastic our breakfast club is.
The article said: "A school has been praised by a national charity for getting pupils off to a good start with a healthy breakfast. Timberley Primary School in Shard End was named as one of Magic Breakfast's flagship partner schools thanks to its 'exemplary' club. The charity currently has 16 breakfast clubs in the city and has funding from the Department for Education to set up more"
Thank you to all the children who continuously attend and make our breakfast how successful it is.
We try our hardest at Timberley to provide as many before and after school clubs to suit all children and parents needs, whether that is parents/carers who work and need early morning child care before school hours and even after school hours child care, as we also provide a tea club. Breakfast is provided for free for all children who attend breakfast club, tea club is £5 a night for a hot cooked meal & 2 hours of activities. Breakfast club doors open at 8.00am and close at 8.35am. All children are more than welcome to come along!
