Parking Reminder
Please do not park on the grass verges when you drop or pick up your children from school.
We are getting complaints from the neighbours as the grass is being damaged and cars are parking across their drives.
It is very important that we keep good relationships with our neighbours, but it is proving difficult with the complaints.
Also, please remember to keep the slip road into school clear.
On Thursday a police lady came to Timberley to visit to monitor the parking situation and issued parking tickets and warnings to cars parked where not appropriate.
Thank you for everyones co-operation.

The children in year 5 and 6 are taking part in a DFE national reading competition. The children have logged onto the secure competition website and are asked to read a book from each category (there are 8 categories in total) between 21st January and 22nd March 2013.
When the children have logged to say they have completed reading a book they will be asked two questions to explore how they felt about the book they have just read.
We have many of the books featured on the reading list in school for the children to borrow and some of the titles are also available for children to read online. Children could also visit the library in Shard End to borrow a book they would like to read.
Children who take part can win individual awards for:
The most books read
The most interesting written responses to books.
As a school we can also win a donation of books from Pearson, Penguin and DK Publishers.
We wish all of our year 5 and 6 pupils the best in this competition- Happy reading!!
Could you all please make sure that children have suitable hair styles for school.
