  • U12 Aston Villa tickets from just £2

    Under 12's can see a Aston Villa 2013-14 season home match from just £2. 
    School  vouchers are available which can be exchanged for 
    1 under 12's ticket and a discounted 1 adult ticket (£15 or £20)

    Contact reception or Mr D Hughes at school or call 07847395269 to purchase a voucher.
    Proceeds from voucher sales go into school fund.  
  • Timberley staff raise £1419.65

    The total sponsorship raised by staff attempting the 3 peaks challenge in May amounted to a whopping £1419.65. A huge thanks to the staff and sponsors for such great effort and support.

  • Timberley community MUGA

    Objections by Sport England have delayed planning permission to build the Timberley community MUGA.
    We are working with Sport England to  overcome the objections which relate to national policies on the development of playing fields and FA guidelines for MUGA pitches.  
  • Lottery funded replacement of Timberley garden farm path.

    With the help of a £9600 "Awards for All" grant from the Big Lottery we have replaced 244 sq mtrs of pathway around the Timberley garden farm area.  The block paved path gives much better and safer access to this increasingly popular area of school.
  • Birmingham Mail School Awards 2013

    The short list for the Birmingham Mail Schools Award 2013 was announced in the Birmingham Mail on Tuesday 18th June 2013. 

    We are proud to say that Timberley Academy won the Go Green award, for all our recycling and outdoor work.

    big thank you to one of our parents, Paula Clarke, who nominated us for this award.

  • Children's University 2013

    hildren’s University Graduation is Wednesday 10th July 2013 for children in years 5 & 6.
    If your child has received a letter, you will need to return the permission slip to let us know whether or not you will be attending the buffet at school prior to event and if you need seats on the coach. 
    These slips must be returned as soon as possible. 

    The Children's University is a brilliant event, which awards children for all their hard work in extra curiculum clubs - outside of school hours. 
    The children attend Aston University in the Birmingham City Centre where they are presented with an award. 
    Every year it is a great success and the children really enjoy themselves.

    Well done to all the children graduating on the 10th. 

    Children in the younger years will be graduating in September.

  • Sports Presentation

    On Friday 12th July we will be holding the sports presentation evening at school, from 7pm onwards. 
    There will be food, a bar and a disco for all. 

    The admission fee is £4 per adult and £1 per child. 
    Children who are receiving an award do not need to purchase a ticket for the evening - these children are free.

    Alcohol will be on sale to all over 18's who attend. 
    Formal ID (either passport or driving licence) will be asked for if you look under the age of 25.

    If you are attending the event and have any drink preferences - please inform the office. 

    Tickets for the event will be given upon payment at the office.









































































  • Help for Heroes

    On Friday 28th June 2013, children and staff may come to school dressed in their own clothing.
    30p for children and £1 for staff.
    Clothes should be in the theme of red, white or blue. 

    There will also be a tuck shop at break time for children to purchase refreshments from. 

    All money raised will go to The Help for Heroes charity. 
    If anyone would like to make a donation, please pay at the office.













































  • Year 6 Personalised Mugs

    Year 6 will be creating personalised mugs as part of their life skills project. 
    The mugs can be ordered at the office for £1,
    for anyone who would like one. 
    You may have any design that you wish. 
    Just let the office know of your requested design when you place your order.

    The Timberley children are making bird boxes, hanging baskets and wheel barrows with plants in to sell. 

    The children love what they have been doing. 
    This project will go towards the children's life skills and to be creative in their work. 

    If you would like to purchase any of these items, please come along to the garden sales after school by the office entrance. 

    All money raised from this will go back to the children.

    Year 6 children are also creating personalised mugs for anyone who would like to purchase one for £1.
    All orders and personalised designs needs to be given to the office.
