Our Autumn 2 Homework Project is due in Monday 15th December

Autumn 2 Homework- Year 1

Reading- 20 minutes per day at least 4 times a week

Maths- Numbots/White Rose 1 Minute Maths App

We are asking children to complete a project of their choice around one of the subjects they have been learning about this half term.  Children can bring their projects in from Monday 15^th December and we will share them in class.

Children can choose how to present their homework; some ideas are:

• A Poster
• A piece of art work
• A story/poem/report
• Photographs (from an activity at home, a walk, local visit or day trip)
• A 3D model

This half term we are learning about:

English Text- Rapunzel  

Maths- Adding and Subtracting numbers to 10

Science – Seasonal Change (Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter)

Art/DT- Drawing: Make your mark (Experimenting drawing with different pencils/pastels/crayons in different ways lines/waves)

History/Geography- How am I making history? (Children’s milestones and timelines)

Music- Christmas Song (Using chime bars)  

PE- Dance

A big well done to those that completed homework projects last half term – it was great to see how creative the children had been.

We are very excited to celebrate the homework from our children at the end of this half term.
