Reminder for all year 6 children who will be attending Park Hall and parents/carers;
Park Hall will be having an open day on Wednesday 2nd July and Thursday 3rd July 2014. These open days will give children who will be starting Park Hall in September, the opportunity to meet new people, get use to their new school and be familiar with their new surroundings. Induction days are really useful for all children so people try and attend these days.
Children who attend these open days will be marked down as 'Educated Off Site' on our registers, so please do not worry about these days affecting your child's attendance at Timberley. Please just let the office know if you will be attending any Open Days.
Please could all Parents/Carers make sure that their child/children's uniform is labelled with their name.
In the case of uniform going missing or accidentally being picked up by another child, a labelled piece of uniform will be easily located and returned. Where as un-labelled uniform might not be able to be found and returned to the right owner.
Your child's name could be wrote on the label inside their uniform and book bag. We offer jumpers, cardigans & fleeces with free of charge embroiding of your child's name.
Please contact Mrs Mildenhall at the school office if you would like to purchase a jumper, cardigan or fleece with your child's name embroided onto it. Embroided uniform can take up to 6 weeks to be made.
As some of you may be aware, Playgroup had an important inspection from OFSTED. The inspector monitored how well playgroup meets the needs of children, the contribution of playgroup to the well-being of children and also the effectiveness of the leadership and management within playgroup.
We are very pleased to say that we have been graded as GOOD!
We would like to thank the staff, children and parents for all of their involvement in the smooth running of the inspection day and also for making playgroup the great setting we are!
Please have a look on our 'Achievement' page to read a copy of the OFSTED report.

On Thursday 1st May 2014 there will be a literacy based performance of Alice in Wonderland.
This performance is one of the few we have booked to help children with their literacy skills, therefore it is really important that all children attend.
The cost of the performance will be £1 per child.
A letter will be sent out with a consent slip, which will need to be filled in by a parent/carer and returned to school as soon as possible with the £1 admission fee.
