  • Raise Money For School While You Shop...

    Fri 02 Oct 2015

You can now raise funds for Timberley Academy simply by shopping online or even just searching the web and best of all its completely free.

An Easy Way To Raise Funds

Do you shop online? Did you know that every time you buy something you could be raising money for Timberley Academy?

That’s right - over 2400 well known retailers including Amazon, M&S, Boden, Waitrose, House of Fraser, Vodafone, John Lewis, Argos, Virgin Atlantic, New Look, Tesco and many more, will donate a percentage of what you spend to Timberley Academy! When you shop with them, via fundraising website easyfundraising.org.uk

It’s like nectar but instead of earning points, each purchase generates a donation. So instead of going directly to a retailer’s website, go to easyfundraising first and choose the retailer you want to shop with – then everything you spend with that retailer earns a free donation for Timberley Academy. It’s completely free to use and your shopping won’t cost you a penny more.

On average, each retailer will donate 5% of the cost of your shopping - and those donations soon mount up.

So whatever you need to buy, from your weekly grocery shop or fashion must-have, to your business travel, office supplies or mobile phone, buy it via easyfundraising and raise money for Timberley Academy at no extra cost to you!

You can even log your card details onto your easyfundraising account, so when you are shopping in-store and not online, you still raise funds for Timberley.

Easyfundraising a completely secure and safe website.

    Also,

Are you one of the millions of people that use a search engine every day? Switch your searching to easysearch and raise money!

Every time you search the web using http://timberleyacademy.easysearch.org.uk instead of Google or any other search engine, half a penny is raised for Timberley Academy.  Search just 15 times a day and you can raise around £25 a year.

Easy Fund Raising really is that easy!! frown

  • Earrings

    Mon 28 Sep 2015

Due to health and safety reasons children are only allowed to wear a single pair of stud earrings to school.  Children must not wear hoop earrings to school.

Children are not permitted to wear earrings for PE or swimming.  They will need to remove their own earrings but for younger children it may be easier for parents to remove them before school on PE days as staff are unable to take earrings out for children.  If your child has had their ears pierced within the last 6 weeks please provide plasters for them to put over them however after 6 weeks their earrings will need to be removed.

I thank you for your cooperation in this matter
