Welcome to Year 6!

Welcome back year 6!

Welcome back to the new calendar year and more hard work! We are all very proud of the children's achievements so far and know that the children will all be working extremely hard in all that they do for this term.

This term we will be looking at the habitats and animals in Science, a subject that they already seem fascinated by and were eager to complete their own research on. Why not head down to Shard End library to borrow some books on these topics to support your learning?

Children's spellings are given out on a FRIDAY to be tested on the following FRIDAY.

Homework (both paper and computer) is given out on a WEDNESDAY to be collected on the following WEDNESDAY. Children also have the opportunity to attend homework club after school on WEDNESDAY (3:30pm - 4:30pm) in order to get extra help or computer time.

For this term, the children will be having double PE on a THURSDAY afternoon. However will still need to make sure they are bringing their PE kit in on a Monday and taking it home on a Friday.
