Literacy Week
We have had such a fantastic Literacy Week. We've shared lots of Martin Waddell stories and we even got to dress up as our favourite book characters for World Book Day.
We became SPIES in our first Big Reading lesson where we were given a mission to predict what might happen next in a story and then had to find some of our phonics sounds and words in a page from the text! We loved finding the words and shouting "BINGO" when we had finished.
Our focus book was Owl Babies and we really enjoyed sharing the story, acting it out and retelling it to our friends. We made our own Owl Babies books and Owl Babies videos too!!
