A visit from Severn Trent Water!
Today year 5 were lucky to meet Malcolm from Severn Trent Water and learn about all the amazing (and the slightly disgusting!) ways that we get fresh water.
The children all learnt how our water here in Birmingham, is sent down 70 mile long pipes all the way from Wales and becomes clean enough for us to drink.
The children also learnt about what happens to things we put down plug holes and the toilet........... but the 5'ers can fill you in on that one!
