Speight of the Art!
Today Year 3 were incredibly lucky to be chosen to take part in the Speight of the Art project. Speight of the Art helps to organise projects and events throughout the UK to bring the benefits of "The Arts" in all it's forms, to children of all ages and abilities.
We all had the opportunity to take part in a ballet workshop with the BRB. We practised our plié and improved our first
position - making sure we were as tall and straight as could be. Then we worked on a routine as a class before creating a final routine in a small group. Finally we got to perform to an audience who LOVED it!
It was a fantastic morning and it showed that we have some very talented dancers and performers!
