Peaceful Protesters!
As a link between our rainforest project work and our fiction writing, we have been looking at a book by Jeannie Baker called The Window.
In this book, a family move to a new house in the countryside, which slowly changes over time because of new building developments. We discussed how these changes would impact the family and what they could do about it.
Logan suggested creating an online petition against new developments, Ayanna suggested writing a letter and Shenai wanted to organise a protest!
So that is what we did!
