Once Upon A Time...
The topic this half term is ‘Stories’. The children will be reading a variety of stories including Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs, Jack and the Beanstalk, Whatever Next and The Gruffalo. They will be given opportunities to retell the stories using props, masks and role play resources. The children will be encouraged to write a range of words, captions and sentences on different story templates such as; wanted posters, building material lists, story frames, letters to Goldilocks and much more. We believe that stories have a real impact on children’s learning and development.
