Marvellous Maths Morning!
This morning we had a special visit from Howard Carter who told us the tale of how he discovered the tomb of King Tutankhamun. After travelling back in time to Ancient Egypt, we took our parchment scrolls and began to solve the mathematical puzzles and problems that were troubling Mr Carter.
We had to build pyramids, decode hieroglyphics, design a scarab beetle and plot his route through Egypt. What a day!
