Marvellous mummies

To finish off our first project, we explored the ancient Egyptian process of mummification and what a gruesome process it was!

We were able to watch a real-life embalmer undertake this process step-by-step.

Can you remember what happened first?  Which organs did they remove?  How did they remove the brain? Why did they not remove the heart?
