Destination Imagination

This year we are starting a very exciting competition - Destination Imagination.  The children have to work together to create a solution to a problem.  Keep checking in to see how they get on!

The team took a trip to ACS Hillingdon International School, on Saturday 4th March, to showcase our final piece.  It was an early start!  We left school at 7am and heading for Middlesex.  The day was amazing.  We started off by showing our challenge to a team of judges.  We had to make a slight adjustment as our hover board wasn't allowed in the small room.  But we found a set of wheels from our back drop and overcame that challenge.  We also completed our instant challenge - that we are not allowed to discuss!  Throughout the day, there were workshops to improve our skills even further.  We made badges -even one for Mr Walker, eventually!  Paige's hand was used to create a sculpture of an insect and we even created our own electrical bugs.

It was a fantastic day and we got to meet lots of other children, from many different parts of the world.  We now need to wait to find out the results.....watch this space!
