Pupil of the Day
In Year 2, we have a 'Pupil of the Day' (not a Child of the Day).
All names are in a pot and each day a pupil is picked at random. This pupil is then the 'Pupil of the Day' for their class and they get to sit in a special chair, wear a crown and badge and hold the class bear for the day. They also receive compliments at the end of the day. If your child is 'Pupil of the Day' they will come home with two copies of their compliments, one for you to keep at home and one for you to complete at home and return to school.
