St. George's Day
What a day we had!
First we started with learning all about George - where he was born, what he did with his life, who else celebrates his day and why he was so important to some many people.
We then had a Great British Quiz, answering questions around anything from historical Royalty to British Celebs.
Our afternoon saw some spiffing traditional decorating of the classroom, using the British flag and bunting as our template.
Also, we thought we'd go and enjoy the great (yet rare!) British sunshine, playing some traditional British sports.
It was a great day!!
