Welcome to Reception!
The children have settled in well and are making lots of new friends. They are enjoying learning their letter sounds in their daily phonics lessons and have focused on numbers and patterns during their maths time.
Our topic is Ourselves so we have been painting portraits, drawing pictures and learning about the body.
Last week was Art Week, we learnt all about Cadbury World and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We had a fantastic time turning our classrooms into our own chocolate factories! We designed chocolate wrappers, created our own chocolate ideas and even made chocolate cakes. We will upload photos so you can see the fun we have been having.
We are looking forward to a fantastic year and hope the children are too.
