All children on the SEND register have an Individual or group plan written by their class teacher, dependant on their level of need.
Children receive constant feedback from their teachers, Teaching and Inclusion Assistants about how they are doing in lessons and have the opportunity to talk about their understanding.
Some children with SEND, from our resource base and from the mainstream school come together to form the Pupil Inclusion Forum (PIF).This ensures that pupil voice is heard from across school.
Children in the resource base have an annual review and their views are sought as to how they feel they are progressing in school.
Children who work with the learning mentors have target sheets and during their group time will discuss their progress.
