Paralympic Showcase

On Wednesday 28th November, a group of children went to the NIA in Birmingham and took part in several paralympic events.  These involved having a go in a racing wheelchair, a game of goalball (where everyone is blindfolded), boccia, seated volleyball, dance and gymnastic activities.

All of the children had great fun playing all the different events. However, the highligh of the day was meeting Micky Bushall (a gold medalist from paralympic GB) and also getting to hold an actual torch from the torch relay.
