Boy's Alan Fowles Trophy

Well done to the boy's football team for finishing top of their group in the first round of the Alan Fowles Trophy.

We drew our first game 0-0 against Blakesley Hall.  A very close game where we had many shots on goal with no success.

Our second game against Hobmoor was extremely competitive and our goal keeper made several good saves; including three in quick succession!

We went in to our final game, knowing a victory would send us through to the finals' night.  We started well, scoring a quick goal against Alston.  All the team pushed forward in search of more goals, which came through a couple of own goals and some great strikes from all the boys.  Finishing the game with an 8-0 victory.

This victory meant that we finished top of our group on goal difference and we go through to finals night, after half term.

Well done boys, you all played extremely well!
